How To Setup A User With Windows SSO and Athena WDS Control Center

Athena Weapons Detection System and Microsoft Windows SSO with SAML 2.0 user setup.  Athena WDS has integrated into windows SSO and this article will show you how to enable a user for SSO. 

Before Adding a user to work with the Weapons Detection System and Windows SSO You must complete the Athena WDS and Microsoft SSO with SAML 2.0 integration found here.

Linking Athena WDS user and Microsoft User accounts.

1. Open Microsoft User Management.
2. Click add user and create a new user or modify an old one.
3. Goto tab to add the users email.   The users email must be the same in Athena Control Center and the Microsoft user management.  As long as they are the same email it will authenticate the user from Microsoft SSO.

    4. For any given user that wants to use Microsoft SSO they must now click on the Microsoft User login icon to login with SSO.

5. Scroll to "Sign in with Microsoft" button and now you can login with your credentials using the email from above steps and the password from your Microsoft account.
