How to evaluate and test a WTMD /WDS using the NIJ 0601.02 standard. Using this standard will help keep your business not at fault when it comes to the law.
Your organization must decide what risk level they are currently at and the co-deciding standard security level setting for the WTMD/WDS. This setting should be tested regularly and comply with the NILECJ Security Level for concealed weapons standards. You will need to defend your reasoning in which security level standard you choose to be set to for your current threat level.
This video on youtube demonstrates AM7 test piece from the NILECJ Standard
Implementing a security level that can best keep the citizens safe in your environment at the current threat level you are experiencing can be argued is the right direction for the law. Note you must also test regularly and document the testing and settings for the current risk level and the corresponding settings from the NILECJ standard you wish to defend in the court of law, so you are not at fault. Please read both NILECJ Level 1 and 2 and https://www.ojp.gov/pdffiles1/nij/193510.pdf document as more than this is in the documentation that you will need to defend against in the court of law.
